Is it really free?

Yes. The app is designed without ads, subscriptions, paid features, or an account to create.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Bible text, reflection prompts, saved verses, and personal thoughts are stored on your device. Widgets use bundled passages too. Sharing through other apps may require a connection.

How are daily passages chosen?

The app and widgets follow the same rotating 30-day selection of Scripture. Reflection prompts are bundled with the app and are separate from the Bible text. There is no live AI generation.

How do I add a widget?

Open Bible Journey once after installing. On your Home Screen, touch and hold an empty area, choose Edit → Add Widget (or +), and search for Bible Journey. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold it, choose Customize → Lock Screen, and tap the widget area.

Where are my thoughts saved?

On your device, with no Bible Journey account or server sync. Device backups may include app data. You can export your thoughts from My Journey before changing phones or deleting the app.

Can I make reading more comfortable?

Choose light or dark appearance, adjust text size, and optionally set a daily reminder for a time that suits you.
